1. Operations Manager based in Country Office
(Fixed-Term Employment of 2 years from the date of employment; Open to all applicants)
Responsibility: Ensure support services within the organization are delivered with high quality and in an efficient manner; Manages and coordinate the operations functions — procurement, fleet, contracts, inventory, assets, warehousing, facilities, etc., and ensure
alignment with the organizational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations; Liaison and focal person for safety and security within the organization.

Education qualification and experience
- Master’s Degree, preferably in Management stream with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in technical areas of logistics operations including procurement, transport/distribution, warehousing and stock management, fleet management, and asset management in the development organization.
- INGO experience preferred.
- Experience using the SAP system will be an added advantage.
- Logistics management experience in a humanitarian emergency context is required.
- Staff management experience and abilities that are encouraging to a learning environment.
- Experience in security and risk management within the context of Nepal.
Knowledge
- Knowledge in managing supplier relationships and evaluating supplier performance.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs requirements, transportation safety regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Understanding of risk management which includes knowledge of contingency planning, business continuity, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of prevailing Tax Act and other government regulations applicable to Logistics & Procurement required.
- Understanding of socio-cultural and political environment.
- Strong knowledge of updated best practices and tools in supply chain management.
Skills & Ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Managing, motivating, and coaching people.
- Managing work relationships (internal/external.
- Communicating, one to one, in groups both in writing, verbal, presentations, and reports.

2. Finance Specialist – Budgeting & Reporting based in Country Office
(Short Term Employment until August 2024; Open to all applicants)

Responsibility: Led the team for accurate budget preparation & consolidation, quarterly forecast, and analysis of different budget ratios in the budgeting process and modification; Provides support to the Finance Manager budgeting and reporting for timely preparation of
accurate financial report and analysis.
Education qualification and experience
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, accounting/finance, or a related field with 2-3 years of experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience of 3-4 years of experience.
- We have demonstrated professional experience in the field of Budgeting & Reporting.
- Experience in using an accounting system is required. Knowledge of the SAP system is highly desirable.
- INGO work experience preferred.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of financial management issues.
- Knowledge of country-specific laws, rules, and regulations related to Finance.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, Control standards, risk management techniques, and the reporting requirements of major international grant donors.
- Strong knowledge of updated best practices and tools in budgetary management.
Skills & Ability
- Budget development and spreadsheet maintenance.
- Financial reporting analysis, initiative, and attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritize, work independently, understand and apply policies and procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, in English and Nepali.
- Strong computer skills – e-mail, windows, word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint.
- Interpersonal skills, training, and coaching skills.
- Ability to problem solve, and handle setbacks.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
